Facilities Overview

  • Gilbert Public Schools Facilities Rental Department is excited to open our doors to the community, non-profit groups, small and big businesses alike. Gilbert has forty (40) schools with a variety of facilities to meet your organization’s needs. Available rentals include ball fields, gymnasiums, classrooms, multi-purpose rooms, auditoriums, cafeterias, and more!

School buildings and facilities shall be made available for community use as freely as is consistent with state statutes, policies, and regulations of the Governing Board of the Gilbert Public Schools, and consistent with the needs of the school or of the School District ...”

Application Submission Schedule

  • The date of application submission varies based on the time of year the activity will be conducted- see below for the earliest submission date. Requests will continue to be accepted throughout the year on a first-come, first served basis with a 10-day minimum advance.

How to Apply

  • Please read the Rental Policies & Procedures Manual and before you begin.

    Your request will be submitted for approval to the principal or personnel responsible for the facility.

    Once approval is received, your request is entered into the District scheduling software. A permit will be issued and e-mailed to you along with an estimate of costs for facility use. Do not advertise events until FINAL APPROVAL is received.

    Gilbert Public Schools has launched custom facility use sites for the district and each school – allowing facility use requests to be submitted at any time. You can view and request all district facilities at: . Although the process of requesting/approval/management of facility use is now digital, what’s implemented remains the same as dictated by Gilbert Public Schools board policies on facility use. The district’s administrative staff makes final decisions on all facility use requests.

    Note: Gilbert Public Schools Community Education Department has computer terminals available to use at our office at 6839 East Guadalupe Road in Mesa, Arizona, for preschool enrollment for families without online access.
